Job Summary: Electrical AGM/DGM for 5 GW TOPCon Cell Line manufacturing Position : AGM/DGM- Department Lead Role & responsibilities Operational Management: Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all plant sections including process tools, utilities, cleanrooms, and offices. Monitor and maintain HT/LT systems , transformers, switchyards, PCC/MCC panels, DGs, UPS, and backup systems. Ensure strict adherence to electrical safety standards , arc flash protection, and grounding systems across the plant. Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules through CMMS and ensure system uptime >99.9%. Team Leadership: Lead a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and contractors for project execution and daily operations . Define team KPIs, assign responsibilities, and conduct regular performance reviews and skill development programs . Instill a safety-first and proactive problem-solving culture within the electrical team. Performance Monitoring Track and analyze power consumption, power quality, system efficiency, and fault trends . Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives , electrical loss reduction, and load balancing across systems. Ensure compliance with ISO 50001 (Energy Management) and other internal KPIs. Conduct RCA and CAPA for power interruptions, equipment failures, and anomalies. Project Management: Drive the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of the complete electrical distribution system for the greenfield facility. Review and approve SLDs, cable schedules, panel designs, lighting layouts, earthing diagrams , and all electrical drawings. Coordinate with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant project execution. Ensure testing, commissioning, and statutory clearances from DISCOM, Electrical Inspectorate, and other authorities. Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with process, production, mechanical, EHS, and automation teams to ensure utility-readiness and alignment with operational goals. Prepare and present performance reports, energy dashboards, and incident reviews to senior management. Coordinate with external agencies (DISCOM, LDC, inspectors, safety auditors) for regulatory clearances, inspections, and audits. Behavioral Skills: Demonstrates strong ownership mindset , taking accountability for plant uptime, team performance, and safety. Builds a skilled and safety-conscious team, mentoring young engineers and promoting cross-functional knowledge sharing . Promotes team-based problem solving , especially in shutdowns, projects, and energy management initiatives Sets clear goals, monitors progress, and drives execution excellence in alignment with project and production timelines. Communicates effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders (e.g., vendors, auditors, regulatory bodies). Uses data and trend analysis to proactively identify inefficiencies or potential failures in gas systems. Applies structured problem-solving techniques like 5-Why, Fishbone, or FMEA to ensure long-term fixes. Preferred candidate profile 12-20 Years (preferably in semiconductor, solar cell, or high-tech continuous process industries) B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. Additional certifications in Energy Management, Electrical Safety, or HT/LT operations preferred.
